“ If I could give 10 stars I would! Such a wonderful dining experience for my family! It was my first time getting to visit since it reopened under new ownership this year, and I’m already looking forward to next year when they open again after the winter season! Everything was as fresh as could be - the chocolate shake was just right in every way, and the burgers and sides were nice and hot! Portion sizes were incredibly generous, and my daughter kept saying “mmm” after every bite of her broasted chicken tenders kids meal. I so appreciate the many “little things” all throughout that make this place truly special, and it stands out. From coloring books with crayons for the kids, chocolate shavings on top of the shake, incorporating quality and homemade ingredients, partnering with local vendors, along with witnessing another customer being celebrated with a special treat with a candle in it for their birthday... I mean, it’s incredible. PS get the cheese pops! Out of this world! Thanks again for having us, we looking forward to being back! ”
“ Great place for lunch with the family! Great food friendly staff! The burgers are full of flavor, French fries are crisp and delicious. Onion rings are some of the best we have ever had, and fried pickles were amazing! ”
“ Was there yesterday was impressed by bacon cheeseburger - size and price...best I've tasted in a long time. Onion rings were very good. Prices very reasonable- good value for your money. So good I had to bring hubby today. Young man server most excellent! ”
“ This place is great. We are traveling from Minneapolis to Hurley Wi and stopped for lunch. The grilled chicken sandwich was perfectly cooked. My wife got a root beer float and it was also good. The root beer tasted homemade. We finished with ice cream cones which were rich and creamy. Service was good due to excellent waitress and prompt food delivery. We added fries which came piping hot and were quite crunchy . All of the staff was friendly an attentive. We come East every year and will definitely stop here again. There is plenty of parking and you can dine inside or outside or in your car. It was hot today and we went inside for the air conditioning. If you love root beer this is a must stop! Philip and Cathy ”
“ This was my first stop to the drive in since new ownership. Everything was delicious and hot! There was great service and friendly atmosphere. I highly recommend getting the grantsburger, fries, cheese pops, and shakes! ”
“ This is a very cute retro drive-in. It also has an eat inside option, and the decor feels like a trip back in time. The hamburgers were some of the best we've ever had. Their French fries are a very unique style, and we enjoyed them, too. They are crunchy on the outside and tender inside. The prices were very reasonable, which was a bonus. They have an old-fashioned milkshake machine, but we didn't try a milkshake on this visit. Maybe next time, because I would definitely go back again! ”
“ Excellent food and service. Highlights were the friendly staff, broasted chicken, and cheese pops! Oh, and a great chocolate malt too! ”
“ This place is a nice representation of a 1950s diner. ”
